As a part of their repositioning to a more product-centric media company, Harbinger was releasing a new series of shorts about lives going through the process of transformation.
Packaging was needed for the DVDs that would resonate with those purchasing them, and also communicate the soft, contemplative vibe of the series.
Knowing that Harbinger was producing the discs on demand, the traditional path of offset printing a quantity of discs and jackets was dismissed. Instead, flexible templates were created that allowed output on their in-house color laser machine. The templates also provided Harbinger with the ability to make additions to the series without requiring any additional design work.
